Relationship Therapy
Support for all sides, inside and out.
Is relationship therapy right for me?
If you’re in a couple, throuple, or polycule and looking to improve communication, deepen intimacy, navigate a tough transition, or learn evidence-based tools…then yes!
Do we have to have “issues” to be in therapy?
Starting therapy can be intimidating, but this is a safe and connective process that doesn’t mean you or your partner(s) have issues. Doing this work makes any relationship more rewarding. Give your heart and mind a little credit, there’s a reason you picked each other!
What if I’m not in a relationship?
Many clients come to me before or after relationships to process or plan. If you’re struggling with dating, going through a breakup, “losing yourself” to others, not feeling confident due to comparison, or running up against a wall with connection …a relational therapist might still be the best fit for individual work.
What will we do exactly?
I will actively guide our first session to get background information about you and your partner(s) while observing communication patterns to identify goals and boundaries. From there, you and your partner(s) will process past and present feelings as I strategically interject with interpretations, tools, and questions that encourage discovery.
Where and how often would we meet?
I recommend clients start with once-a-week, in-person sessions, but once we have a sense of each other and your relationship goals, we can tailor schedules as necessary. I have a gorgeous, safe-haven office space for in-person sessions, and also provide Telehealth video appointments to clients in California or abroad. I will be transparent about my recommendations after your first visit.
Why should I work with you?
I pledge transparency because I’m confident that my experience gives me the presence, power, and persona to do what I do, and modeling healthy dynamics is foundational to our work. Read all about me and my methodology here, but don’t just take my word for it. Here’s a list of helpful tips on how to interview a therapist.
How much is this going to cost?
I understand therapy is a financial and emotional investment. Rates vary depending on the length of the session, starting at $235. I provide superbills to submit to insurance providers. Please contact me if you think we might be a match but are uncertain how these fees fit your budget. Mention you’re discovering me through this friends & family page and we’ll find solutions together.
